Shaft Assemblies (TRSA) & Carriage Assemblies (TRCA)

Lintech provides both single and dual, precision round rail steel shaft assemblies. These shaft assemblies have a precision machined 6061-T6 aluminum black anodized base that runs the entire length of the shaft which not only supports the user load as it moves along the shaft, but the support also has pre-drilled base mounting holes that allow for easy customer mounting to a machines’ frame. The shaft straightness specifications 0.001/0.002 in/ft. cumulative. Shaft diameters are available from 0.500 to 2.0 inches in 6 to 192-inch standard lengths. Some standard sizes can be shipped in less than 2 days, while any length can be provided as a custom in as little as 1 week.


The TRCA series is a pre-engineered carriage assembly which has either SLBO or DLBO pillow blocks mounted to a 6061-T6 black anodized precision machined aluminum plate. The pillow blocks are doweled to the carriage plate and are pre-aligned to match Lintech’s TRSA series shaft assemblies. The use of a TRCA carriage assembly and a TRSA shaft assembly in a mechanical positioning application greatly reduces the time-consuming process of mounting & aligning two shafts and pillow blocks. Each carriage surface is precision machined which allows for accurate mounting of customer loads. Also, carriage assemblies are available with pre-machined stainless-steel inserts, which allows easy mounting of customer loads to the carriage plate. Carriages are provided with pillow blocks for shaft diameters from ½ to 2 inches and come in standard carriage lengths from 6 to 30 inches.
